NWA Golden Vets helps veterans overcome mental and physical barriers by promoting healthy activity, friendly competition, and relationships among peers through funding to vets who regularly train for the VA sponsored National Golden Age Games.

Amber Johnson
President
In addition to being an HSO board member and avid dog lover, Amber & her husband Jack are very active in the AKC and HRC hunt test arena. Amber is also the retired treasurer for Ozark hunting retriever Association.
Eddie Landreth
Vice President
Worked at Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville for 17 years, Chief Technologist for Radiology department. US Army and Army Reserve veteran. Married to Rhonda for 25 years, two children & three dogs.
Lesley Townsend
Secretary Treasurer
Wife of a Veteran of the Vietnam War for 55 years, has worked as executive assistant all of her working life. While they raised two children she also served on various boards including as President of the National Association of Childbirth Educators (NACE). They recently returned to their beloved Ozarks.
Gary Schuster
Resident Agent
Vietnam Veteran 1968; Fayetteville VA hospital volunteer 15 yearrs; Gold Medalist in Swimming at the Veteran’s Golden Age Games; Co-founder of NWA Golden Vets. Married 27, one child & one cat.
Lee Williams
Retired Secretary Treasurer
Marine, Vietnam Vet, Retired in 2011. Volunteer VA Yoga instructor 4 years, Veterans Advisory Council Member. Married 53 years to an awesome artist Marzelle, with two daughters and two dogs.
